Membership
The British Columbia Association of Chiefs of Police (BCACP) is the professional association representing police leadership across British Columbia.
BCACP has supported police leaders in advancing policing and public safety through provincial leadership, strategic collaboration, and professional engagement. Representing municipal police services, the RCMP, Indigenous policing, and policing partners, the Association provides a trusted forum for addressing the issues that matter most to policing and the communities we serve.
The challenges facing policing continue to evolve. Many extend beyond the boundaries of individual organizations and require collective leadership, informed dialogue, and coordinated action. BCACP provides the provincial forum where police leaders contribute their operational expertise, inform emerging priorities, and help shape the future of policing in British Columbia.
The strength of BCACP lies in its members. Their leadership, experience, and commitment to the profession guide the Association’s work and contribute to stronger policing, stronger partnerships, and safer communities throughout British Columbia.
Whether contributing to provincial initiatives, participating on committees, sharing operational expertise, or engaging in professional development, BCACP membership reflects a commitment to advancing the policing profession beyond individual organizations.
