Active Membership shall be restricted to the following applicants while serving in office:

  • The Chief Constables, Deputy Chief Constables, Superintendents and Inspectors of each municipal police agency established in British Columbia.
  • The Chief Officer, Deputy Chief Officers, Superintendents and Inspectors of the South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority Police Service.
  • The Chief Officer, Deputy Chief Officers, Superintendents and Inspectors of the Stl’atl’imx Tribal Police.
  • The Officer in Charge and Commissioned Officers of the BC Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit.
  • “E” Division Royal Canadian Mounted Police Commanding Officer.
  • “M” Division, Royal Canadian Mounted Police Commanding Officer and Criminal Operations Officers.
  • “E” Division OIC of a Royal Canadian Mounted Police Detachment and/or a Commissioned Officer (Inspector and above) Unit Commander of a Specialized Unit as approved by the “E” Division Commanding Officer, including but not limited to:
    • Officer in Charge, Criminal Operations (Core)
    • Officer in Charge, Criminal Operations (ISOC)
    • Officer in Charge, Federal Policing (D/Crops)
    • Officer in Charge, Criminal Operations (D/Crops)
