Day 2 – TRM Certified Investigator (TRM-CI) Course & Certification
The TRM Certified Investigator (TRM-CI) course equips participants with essential skills for conducting cryptocurrency investigations. As a Cybercrime and Financial Crime Specialist, Kerry detects and investigates complex financial offenses, such as embezzlement, fraud, elder abuse, theft, and money laundering at the Rocky Mountain Information Network (RMIN). She works with a team of professionals from various law enforcement agencies and jurisdictions within the Rocky Mountain region, as well as collaborating with professionals across the United States and internationally. Kerry uses advanced tools and techniques to collect, process, and present evidence in a clear and concise manner. Her expertise includes a specialization in cryptocurrency investigations, particularly tracing transactions on the blockchain and utilizing tools to create visual representations of the trace.
Kerry holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Cybersecurity from Capella University, where she studied the latest trends and best practices in the field. She also strengthened her knowledge in cryptocurrency fundamentals, digital forensics, and risk management. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from the University of Wyoming, graduating with honors.
Kerry is passionate about solving challenging problems, learning continuously, and making a positive impact in her community. She values honesty, integrity, and accountability—and strives to uphold these principles in both her work and life.
