Keynote Speaker

Good Cop, Bot Cop

As law enforcement agencies face increasingly complex digital threats, the rise of automation and artificial intelligence is reshaping how policing is done. In this compelling session, cybersecurity and tech analyst Ritesh Kotak explores the emergence of the “Bot Cop”, AI-driven tools that support everything from surveillance and facial recognition to digital forensics and predictive policing.

Through real-world examples and a critical lens, Kotak examines how these technologies are being used to enhance investigations, streamline decision-making, and improve officer safety. He also delves into the ethical and operational challenges they bring, including issues of bias, accountability, and public trust. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how human officers and intelligent machines can work together and where the limits should be drawn.
